Wallpaper

To download the wallpaper:

  1. Right click on the picture
  2. Choose set as wallpaper
  3. Holy Jumpin' Up and Down Martha, you have the wallpaper on your computer.

Note:  All wallpapers are intended for 1024 by 768 desktops.   If you have Windows 98 you can choose to stretch the wallpaper.   This option looks good as well as the center option. After you have set the picture as your wallpaper you can right click on the desktop, choose properties, the background tab, from here you can fool around with how the wallpaper looks. If you have windows 95 the wallpaper can only be tiled or centered.  For Windows 95 users, the center function looks the best.   If you have any questions or if you would like to submit your Beaver football wallpaper e-mail me at webmaster@beaverfootball.com.

If you do not have Microsoft Plus download Free Theme
It will enable you to experience the Beaver football theme without Microsoft Plus.

The sounds for the Beaver football theme are in MPEG format. Click System.wav to see if your computer supports this format. If you did not hear any sounds download MPEG.EXE (275K). For more information click MPEG Compression

The Beaver football theme looks best in 16 bit mode or higher and at 1024 by 768 and does not include a screen saver.

Screen Saver

There are two options to get a Beaver screen saver:

Option 1

The first choice is you can go to http://www.bouncingbitmaps.com/index.html and download their free screen saver that bounces any logo of your choice around the screen. The only thing is you have to get the image.  To browse some Beaver images for your screen saver, try HERE.

Option 2

The second option is you can pay for one at http://www.lightsoutsports.com/college/Pac10/OregonState/Index.html.

madden.gif (1664 bytes)

Nathan (purlings@grapevine.net) made this patch for Madden 2001 for the PC.  It includes the Oregon State Beavers of 2000 and many other college football teams.  It looks very good and  he did an excellent job.

Directions

  1. Download the patch.

  2. If you have not already done so, you need to update the game to version to 1.5 (To update just go to the main screen and look under install. There is a tab for "update". Hit that and if your online, it will automatically update for you.)

  3. For the roster to work, you only need to place the file (MCF.dat) under the "roster" folder.

  4. Start Madden and in the game go to the roster section and load the file.

I made this patch for Madden 2000 for the PC.  The patch has just the Beavers.  It is not complete, but it has all the the Oregon State starters and some extras.

Directions

  1. Download the patch.

  2. Place OREGONSTATE.TEMO in the "save" folder and ROSTERDATA.DAT in the "rosters" folder.

  3. The roster should be ready to go.

If you have any questions e-mail me at webmaster@beaverfootball.com or Nathan at purlings@grapevine.net.
